Position Summary:

The Senior Manager of Electrical Lift Maintenance is a highly skilled professional responsible for overseeing the operation and upkeep of various lift systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of relevant safety regulations and operational standards. The primary focus is to lead the maintenance team, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of lift operations while prioritizing safety and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily maintenance operations of lift systems, including overseeing construction projects for significant chairlift equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards set by governing bodies.
  • Assist in monitoring financial expenditures related to operations and capital projects.
  • Oversee staff conduct, training, and adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Lead the hiring, training, and professional development of electrical maintenance personnel.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance lift safety and reliability.
  • Organize and direct maintenance activities to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and vehicles in optimal condition.
  • Report any unusual conditions or incidents to the department director promptly.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of maintenance logs, operational procedures, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience in lift maintenance or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with PLC programming is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong understanding of lift maintenance and operational management.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations governing lift operations.
  • Intermediate skiing or riding skills are advantageous.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $74,000 - $118,830, plus an annual bonus. Compensation is determined based on various factors.
