Job Opportunity: Patient Service Representative

About the Role:

ZOLL LifeVest, a leading manufacturer of lifesaving medical technology, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team as an independent contractor. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in training patients on the use and care of the LifeVest, a wearable cardioverter defibrillator designed to protect patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact caregivers and family members to schedule services and ensure patient understanding and satisfaction.
  • Travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities to provide services, including training patients and caregivers on the use of LifeVest.
  • Program LifeVest according to prescribing physician's orders and measure patients to determine correct garment size.
  • Review and have patients sign necessary paperwork, including the Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist, and transmit signed copies to ZOLL within 24 hours.
  • Manage device and garment inventory, and disclose any family relationships with potential referral sources.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of patient care experience in a paid professional environment (not family caregiver).
  • Patient experience must be documented on resume.
  • Completion of background check, including level 2 screening for Florida and Ohio candidates.
  • Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable).
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance or valid state ID.
  • Willingness to pay a $30 annual DME fee and additional vendor credentialing fees (if needed geographically).
