Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients upon arrival and verify their information to ensure proper billing
  • Manage patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and handle administrative tasks
  • Verify insurance and ensure necessary information and insurance card copies are in the EMR system
  • Collect co-pays and patient balances, and follow-through with referral management
  • Monitor the patient waiting area and perform other duties as requested
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED and 2 years of medical office experience
  • Exceptional customer/patient service and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation, empathy, and ability to multi-task
  • Clear and effective communication in a positive manner; attention to detail, spelling, and grammar
  • Knowledge of computer and phone systems
