Job Title: Rehabilitation Quality Coordinator

At Aiken Regional Medical Centers, we are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Quality Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the completion and transmission of the Inpatient Rehab Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide education to staff on the application of Care Tool completion and chart documentation for GG coding.
  • Assist with the collection of data and interpretation of performance improvement outcome information.
  • Develop and maintain systems to ensure data collection for IRF-PAI, PI, or other projects.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to identify and address any discrepancies in Care Tool recording.
  • Report any non-compliance with IRF-PAI rules and regulations to the Program Director.
  • Assist with the management of PI process and data collection.
  • Communicate outcome data to the team.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a hospital/clinical setting with knowledge of clinical conditions.
  • Experience in rehab or skilled nursing setting preferred.
  • Current RN license in South Carolina.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
