Production Agronomy Internship

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Agronomy Intern to support the safe, effective, and efficient management of seed production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Plant Agronomist in the production of seed
  • Conduct scouting and Integrated Pest Management duties, including supply research studies, economic injury threshold evaluation, weed and disease identification, and crop progress reporting
  • Play a key role in raising a quality and high-yielding seed crop
  • Assist with day-to-day activities of seed production and complete a special project assigned by the Agronomist
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a 4-year degree in agronomy, agriculture business, agriculture studies, agricultural systems technology, or related field
  • Previous internships in production agriculture or relevant experience preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment
  • Ability to work in crop production fields and have limited exposure to chemicals, dust, noise, temperature variation
