Job Overview

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Technical Content Developer will be responsible for structuring, writing, and maintaining technical documentation, as well as preparing training materials and providing software training to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop conceptual diagrams, process flows, data models, prototypes, user interface designs, use cases, and screen layouts for software applications.
  • Create user guides, quick reference guides, online documentation, and web help pages.
  • Prepare training materials, including presentations, handouts, and other supporting materials.
  • Provide software training to customers, both onsite and at regional locations.
  • Review, update, and edit existing documentation for structural consistency, technical accuracy, clarity, grammar, and spelling.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Outstanding technical writing, structuring, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Solid skills working with various computer programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, RoboHelp, Camtasia, Adobe Acrobat, and Photoshop.
  • Able to author clear, detailed, professional, and visually well-designed technical documentation.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex analytical software and concepts.
  • Knowledge of facilitation techniques and experience delivering classroom training with strong presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required by projects.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects on tight timelines.
  • Ability to work with resources across multiple time zones.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including company-paid health care, dental & vision coverage, 401(k) and life & disability insurance, generous holiday, sick & vacation time off, and a professionally challenging, yet fun office environment.
