Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 based on industry standards and location in Watertown, SD. The benefits package includes health insurance ($57 per pay period), dental insurance (no charge for employee coverage), life insurance (no charge for family coverage), short-term disability, a generous 401k match, 8 paid holidays, and 4 weeks' vacation.
Job DescriptionMachining Specialist Role:
- Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and precision of finished parts.
- Make adjustments and fine-tune machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize efficiency and productivity.
To succeed as a Machining Specialist at Dynamic Engineering, you should possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of machining practices, tools, and materials.
- Experience with CNC programming and operating various CNC machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills.
