Payroll Specialist

RemX is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days spent in the office and 3 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll for employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and labor laws
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including payroll summaries and tax reports
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and management, responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations, and implement changes as necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a hybrid or remote work environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including tax laws and labor laws
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
