As the Benefits Leave Operations Manager, you will lead a team of specialists in managing comprehensive leave program operations for approximately 18,000 employees across North America.

  • Direct the functions and processes of benefits leave operations, including collaboration with external vendors, budgeting, and compliance audits.
  • Ensure that all benefit leave programs are administered in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and business units to provide support and guidance.
  • Work alongside IT to enhance technology solutions that improve employee experiences.
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of business processes and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct data audits to uphold process integrity and improve data quality.
  • Lead compliance audits and manage necessary filings and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate eligibility data in vendor and HR systems and participate in system testing.
  • Ensure prompt responses to benefit inquiries and escalations.
  • Engage in vendor stewardship meetings to discuss metrics and process enhancements.
  • Create knowledge articles for employees, HR, and managers regarding benefit plans and programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Benefits Leave operations within a large corporate setting.
  • Proven project management experience in benefits.
  • Strong understanding of benefit accounting principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements for various benefit leave plans.
  • Experience in managing and developing team members.
  • Ability to effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Workday and Ceridian systems, including reporting and data management.
  • Experience working with virtual or global teams is advantageous.
