Role Summary: As a Used Car Buyer, you will be instrumental in augmenting our inventory of pre-owned vehicles while upholding our high standards of quality. We seek an individual with extensive knowledge of the used car market and a sharp ability to identify valuable vehicles. Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately assess and appraise used vehicles based on current market dynamics, vehicle history, and condition.
  • Negotiate and acquire used cars from diverse sources, including auctions, trade-ins, and private sellers.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with vendors, wholesalers, and private sellers to procure quality used vehicles.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all acquisitions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to devise effective strategies for selling used vehicles.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments in the used car market.
  • Utilize automotive valuation tools to appraise vehicles and participate in auctions.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Used Car Buyer within the automotive industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of current market trends and pricing for used vehicles.
  • Proficient in assessing vehicle condition and value accurately.
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping capabilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications and familiar with automotive valuation tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
