Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute specific Operational Excellence projects to drive business improvement
  • Lead and facilitate improvement teams across multiple sites, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Establish and train teams on lean processes, ensuring a systematic approach to project management
  • Document and share project ideas across the network, working closely with finance to establish project values
  • Manage project direction, implementation, cost/benefit analysis, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Develop and maintain effective communication strategies, including format, frequency, material, and audience
  • Define projects in accordance with customer requirements, utilizing tools such as Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), process flow mapping, control plan documentation, and Capability Analysis
  • Review, measure, and proactively study Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to prevent substandard product and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to find solutions to customer complaints, focusing on permanent corrective action
  • Establish and maintain monthly progress reviews, aligning with site leadership requirements
  • Share best practices across sites with CI Managers/Coordinators and corporate headquarters
  • Develop processes and systems to ensure sustainability of improvements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering)
  • 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing
  • Certification in Lean manufacturing preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of formalized lean manufacturing practices and tools
  • Six Sigma certification – black belt preferred
  • Strong Project Management and execution skills
  • Structured and organized
  • Strong team player/ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Strong analytical, computational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen
