About the Role

TEN Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Operations Manager to join our team at the Rivergate Branch. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the branch, ensuring exceptional member service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Branch Operations: Ensure the efficient operation of branch personnel, vault operations, and equipment.
  • Member Engagement: Interview members and input consumer loan applications, assist centralized lenders in closing consumer loans, and assist members with account opening and maintenance of all deposit products and ancillary services.
  • Leadership and Development: Supervise personnel with assigned branch, maintain the ability to perform the essential job functions of all branch positions, and coach, train, and develop employees to exceed in their job functions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor all branch activities to ensure adherence to credit union policy and procedure and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Three years' experience working in retail operations of a credit union, bank, or financial institution, with experience in management preferred.
  • Skills: Thorough knowledge of credit union accounts, products, services, and credit union operations, observance of credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance, strategic thinking, leadership, and teamwork, accuracy in cash handling and transactions, above-average math skills, proficiency working with computers and office equipment, good interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and ability to travel on an irregular basis.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move to various areas of the branch and assist members from different areas of the branch (teller line, vault, outdoors).
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
