Position Overview:
The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for identifying, preventing, and resolving medication-related issues. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pharmacy Operations: Execute all pharmacist duties, maintain proficiency in pharmacy services, and oversee medication automation and inventory management.
  • Clinical Practice: Conduct thorough medication order reviews, patient monitoring, and facilitate effective communication with medical staff to address medication-related concerns.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Deliver timely and accurate medication therapy, actively participating in clinical programs and collaborating with healthcare teams.
  • Team Collaboration: Ensure seamless care transitions between shifts and across pharmacy practice areas, supporting other operational needs as required.
  • Education and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to new staff and pharmacy trainees, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Quality Improvement: Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing medication processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or equivalent advanced pharmacy degree. Current BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification and applicable state pharmacy license.

Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency.
