The Market Operations Leader is tasked with driving profitable growth through effective product sales and exceptional customer service.
Compensation:
$90-115k/year based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations within the market, ensuring a high standard of customer service, analyzing customer demographics, and identifying potential sales avenues.
Guarantee that programs sold at key account levels are effectively implemented in the market.
Coordinate with delivery and merchandising teams to ensure optimal execution at the account level, meeting customer expectations for product delivery.
Establish and maintain effective communication with Account Sales Representatives regarding sales activities to ensure seamless execution at the customer level.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's marketing strategies alongside customer objectives, integrating both into the sales approach for assigned clients.Prepare and deliver regular business reviews to designated customers.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate pricing is reflected in the sales system for all assigned clients.
Understand and uphold the company's merchandising standards across various products and categories. Train direct reports to manage products and equipment in alignment with these standards.
Review daily workloads and adjust as necessary to accommodate fluctuations in volume and personnel availability.
Continuously seek feedback from key account personnel regarding the performance of direct reports within the account.
Address any issues promptly with team members.Proactively communicate business challenges, development opportunities, and competitive insights to other departments, influencing business strategies with actionable plans.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
A minimum of five years of experience in sales and/or management within a dynamic, competitive environment, ideally within a Direct Service Delivery (DSD) or General Product Company (GPC).
Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to inspire a team.
A coaching and mentoring mindset.
Customer-centric approach with a focus on creating mutually beneficial outcomes for the company and its clients.
