Job SummaryThe Concessions Operations Manager will play a critical role in leading the concessions team to achieve outstanding guest satisfaction, partner satisfaction, and financial results. This experienced operations leader will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of concessions operations, ensuring the recruitment and training of team members, and driving engagement within the concessions department.
Detailed Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of concessions operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and point-of-sale systems.
- Ensure the timely implementation and communication of promotions, including menu items and pricing.
- Manage the recruitment and training of team members, ensuring they meet the company's standards and procedures.
- Drive engagement within the concessions department, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee all aspects of season planning and event preparation, ensuring maximum event readiness.
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of month-end inventory for the concessions department.
- Manage the onboarding of new management employees, ensuring they meet the company's #bestdayever process.
- Conduct monthly safety training for team members, ensuring they meet the company's safety standards.
- Manage team member scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet demand forecasts.
- Verify payroll, including entering gratuities and managing subcontractor communications.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of month-end inventory for the concessions department.
- Complete building walkthroughs during events, ensuring the concessions area meets the company's standards.
- Work with location partners to manage the implementation of standards agreed through sponsorship deals.
- Support other locations/properties as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedule.
