Role OverviewAre you eager to expand your IT expertise in a significant role that safeguards and empowers pioneers? As a Senior Systems Security Specialist, you will leverage your knowledge to architect, evaluate, and deploy secure operating systems, networks, and security protocols. Your responsibilities will encompass the oversight of our IT security frameworks and applications, incident management, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery initiatives. You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, as well as develop and implement robust security measures.
Your role will also involve researching, assessing, and proposing cutting-edge security solutions that align with our IT security vision, integrating them into our enterprise systems.
Sierra Space is at the forefront of aerospace innovation, designing and producing advanced spacecraft, satellites, and propulsion systems for government and commercial clients.
QualificationsEssential:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with typically 6 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
Preferred:
- ISSM CAP, CISSP, or CISM Certification
- ISSE CAP, CISSP-ISSEP Certification
- ISSO Security+, CISA, or CASP+ Certification
- MCSE, Linux, and/or CCNP Security Certification
