Senior Linux Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Administrator to join our corporate IT Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining Linux operating systems on servers and workstations, working with development tools to automate daily activities, and providing user support for development teams.
In this role, you will evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of our systems to correct deficiencies and produce effective data handling, integrity, and storage.
This is a contract position through the end of July 2025, with the opportunity to convert to a full-time employee with the company. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $65-75 per hour, as well as health, dental, vision, and a 401K plan.

- 5+ years of Linux administration experience
- Expert with Linux RedHat
- Experience with automation deployment tools, Puppet preferred
- Experience supporting servers in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure preferred)
- Experience with VMware (VRealize, VRealize Operations, VRealize Automation, hypervisor - highly preferred)
- Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- Experience integrating Active Directory into a Linux environment
- Certifications: AWS Cloud Foundations, Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
