Position Overview

As a Lead Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. Reporting to the Director of Environmental Services, you will provide leadership and direction to ensure that our environment meets the highest standards of hygiene and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Foster effective communication and teamwork among staff to achieve departmental goals.
• Assess and enhance the housekeeping program by researching new cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Implement infection control measures and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards and evaluate the physical condition of the facilities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely completion of documentation.
• Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, aligning with budgetary constraints.
• Address and report any unsafe conditions promptly to ensure the safety of all personnel and visitors.
• Support the training and development of staff, reinforcing best practices in housekeeping operations.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of six months of experience in a supervisory role within a large organization, such as a healthcare facility or hospitality environment.
• Completion of supervisory training within the designated timeframe.
