Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

As a Medical Billing Operations Lead, you will be responsible for analyzing denial inventory and denial reason codes to identify payer trends. You will communicate with the appropriate agencies to ensure collections are timely and accurate. Additionally, you will develop new billing, filing, and reporting systems and supervise implementation.

You will also prepare reports for the Executive Management Team, auditors, and other interested parties regarding cash flow, site utilization, annual cost report, and other reports as requested. Furthermore, you will act as a liaison with the Director of Revenue regarding revenue accounting matters and the coordination of audits.

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Billing environment. A High School Diploma/GED is required, along with AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and/or AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist certification. Knowledge of AthenaHealth billing system is also necessary.

Experience working surgical claims both in and out of network is a must. Familiarity with Medical and Coding terminology is also essential. Additionally, you should have working knowledge and relevant experience with Billing and Coding practices. Computer savvy and Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) are also required skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
