As a Strategic Sales Executive, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Area Director of Sales to enhance revenue and optimize occupancy rates.
  • Market Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of the local market to drive sales initiatives.
  • Sales Accountability: Oversee hotel room sales, banquet, and meeting room revenues, ensuring alignment with market performance and budgetary goals.
  • Business Development: Proactively seek new business opportunities through various channels including marketing campaigns, telemarketing, and site visits.
  • Client Engagement: Actively participate in meetings with corporate and leisure clients, providing site tours and building lasting relationships.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate corporate rates based on volume and availability.
  • Communication: Initiate sales efforts through effective oral and written communication, managing group room sales commitments.
  • Contract Management: Prepare group contracts and coordinate with front desk staff for seamless execution.
  • Reporting: Compile and direct the preparation of sales operation reports, including forecasts and productivity metrics.
  • Market Research: Conduct ongoing research to identify market trends and develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Sales Presentations: Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Community Representation: Represent the hotel at community and industry events.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven sales experience in a hotel environment.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on guest service.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry and current market trends.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary starting at $55,000, based on experience, along with a bonus program. Additional benefits include:
