Key Responsibilities
  • Review electronic medical records for physician deficiencies and communicate with physicians and other providers to resolve issues.
  • Assign and track physician deficiencies, ensuring timely completion and resolution.
  • Generate and maintain physician notification letters and reports, as needed.
  • Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and support to physicians and their staff on electronic information systems.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in health information management or related field required.
  • Two years of hospital health information management experience, including analyzing medical records for physician record completion deficiencies.
  • Experience with document imaging systems and dictation/transcription systems preferred.
