Role Overview:

As a Senior Research Leader, you will spearhead and oversee scientific initiatives, acting as the Principal Investigator for both regulated and non-regulated studies. Your expertise will ensure that client projects align with Laboratory Service Inc's standards, as well as regulatory requirements, to achieve significant milestones in the drug development process.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and evaluate protocols and sample analysis strategies.
  • Anticipate and address challenges that may impact study success.
  • Collaborate with the method development team to ensure readiness for validation.
  • Authorize validation methods and assess sample analysis techniques.
  • Independently analyze and validate raw data.
  • Scrutinize data and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Deliver reports that are scientifically accurate and comprehensive, ensuring timely submission of high-quality results.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot assay-related issues.
  • Engage in scientific inquiries and investigations.
  • Act as the primary scientific liaison for clients, clarifying project specifications.
  • Guide the study team with scientific directives.
  • Identify and communicate scientific challenges or changes in project scope.
  • Foster client satisfaction and promote quality within the study team.
  • Serve as a technical mentor for junior team members, offering guidance and recognition.
  • Encourage collaboration across various teams.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a life science field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the discipline.
  • Proficient in research execution, data analysis, and report generation.
  • Experience with laboratory analytical instruments is essential.
  • Ability to deliver scientific presentations and prepare publications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.
