We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chemical Research Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our Metabolism team, you will be responsible for assisting in the formulation of client test materials using wet chemistry techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate client test materials using wet chemistry techniques such as weighing materials, using pH probes, graduated cylinders, mixing samples, and heating samples.
  • Work with analytical chemistry instrumentation including UV-Vis, HPLC, and LC-MS after 6 months to 1 year of experience.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as taking inventory and documenting work.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.)
  • Experience with wet chemistry and analytical instrumentation (HPLC, UV-Vis, LC-MS)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
