About the Role

As a Building Engineer at CBRE, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems in multiple assigned facilities. Your primary duties will include providing support, preventive and scheduled maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. You will also be responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems in assigned facilities to achieve efficient results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains, operates, and repairs HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned building(s).
  • Inspects building HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
  • Completes maintenance and repair records as the need arises.
  • Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  • Reviews historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing and preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Operates company vehicle in a safe manner and follows prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner.
  • Performs general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
  • Aligns with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Proven experience as a HVAC technician or Building Engineer; minimum of three years.
  • EPA required.
  • Mobile maintenance experience highly preferred.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks.

What You'll Do
  • Commercial HVAC and Facilities systems maintenance and repair.
  • Perform assigned repairs, emergency, corrective, and preventive maintenance.
  • Provide Plumbing, Electrical, and Lighting maintenance.

What You'll Need
