Job Title: Registered Nurse - Dialysis Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Dialysis Center team at Connecticut Children's. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to children with acute and chronic kidney disease or apheresis needs in the ambulatory and inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide general and specialized nursing care to patients with acute and chronic kidney disease or apheresis needs
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct daily huddles to review patient status and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Document all pertinent aspects of care, including treatment plans, patient status, and unexpected events
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • Current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse licensure
  • American Heart Association, or American Red Cross, Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS certification
  • Minimum of ASN/ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred
  • Dialysis experience preferred
  • Apheresis experience preferred
  • Pediatric experience preferred
