Responsibilities
  • Assess patients preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote informed decision-making and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing.
  • Current state licensure to practice nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if applicable).
Compensation

Competitive hourly rate: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour.
