The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is seeking enthusiastic and sociable individuals to join our Banquets team as part-time Event Service Attendants. Our venue features 7,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space, including an impressive two-story ballroom. We provide flexible work schedules and opportunities for cross-training in various roles, allowing you to expand your knowledge of the hospitality industry.

As an Event Service Attendant, your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and comprehending Banquet Event Orders or Event Plans to ensure banquet rooms are arranged according to client specifications.
- Setting up tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables, and cordial carts.
- Warmly welcoming all guests and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the meal service.
- Delivering and serving welcome beverages, food, meals, condiments, and accompaniments.
- Replenishing buffet items to maintain consistency and freshness in presentation.
- Clearing china, glassware, and silverware from tables at the end of the meal and transporting them to the stewarding area.
- Responding to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
- Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas.
- Upholding high standards of safety and cleanliness in all banquet and meeting spaces.
- One to two years of experience in a similar role within an upscale hotel environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use judgment and reasoning to handle emergencies.
- Knowledge of various banquet and food service techniques and standards.
- Positive personality and strong interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and consistent attendance.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
