Reporting directly to the Manager of Cloud Services Operations, the Site Reliability Engineer will deliver exceptional solutions for the security, availability, performance, efficiency, change management, and monitoring of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage customer cloud environments for the operation of the Aras PLM Platform.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps, support, and development teams.
  • Engage with cutting-edge cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
  • Implement automation strategies to continuously minimize operational toil for customers using CI/CD methodologies.
  • Contribute to a team that integrates new technologies and deploys services across multiple cloud environments and regions.
  • Tackle technical challenges, guide various teams (both internal and external), and consistently enhance our systems, deployments, operations, monitoring, and overall cloud activities and costs.
  • Provide technical expertise and ownership in diagnosing and resolving security and privacy issues related to Managed Services offerings, including both internal and external technical communications.
  • Set up cross-region environments using automated or manual processes.
  • Address customer support inquiries related to these environments.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call shifts as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization, specifically with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking concepts - Load balancers, Firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP - including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Experience with monitoring systems and SLA tracking.
  • Hands-on experience in administering and supporting high-scale production workloads.
  • A positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
