New Graduate Support
Newly registered nurses (RNs) will benefit from a thorough, tailored support system. All RNs entering their first nursing position are encouraged to engage in a Nurse Residency Program alongside nursing orientation. Unit Specialization
Our adult oncology progressive care unit is a specialized 25-bed facility focused on the care of hospice/end-of-life patients, cancer patients, individuals with COPD, and those experiencing weakness due to acute illnesses.

This unit operates under a Team-Based Acuity Adaptable Model (TBAAM), which includes an interdisciplinary team that collaborates daily with the clinical nurse to ensure better continuity of care for our patients.

Nursing Skills Developed
As a member of this unit, you will gain valuable nursing skills, including:

  • Progressive Level of Care
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Chemotherapy Competency
  • Expertise in Hospice Care

  • Competent RNs available for both day and night shifts

Qualifications
Applicants must possess an Associate of Nursing (ASN) degree; a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) is preferred. An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license is required. Candidates must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program and hold Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Additional advanced life support certifications may be necessary based on unit or department specialty.
