Event Specialist

A fantastic opportunity to learn the event industry from the ground up. Banquet Captain experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up for events - tables, chairs, linens, place settings, installing decor.
  • Setting up all bars for events - ensure all furniture/decor is in place, all glassware, beverages, garnishes, and mixing signature drinks.
  • Serving during the event - working with the team to make sure the client's experience is exceptional with sincere, motivated, warm, and professional service.
  • Cleaning up after the event - ensuring everything is back in its proper place.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of all china, glassware, flatware, and various other event items.
General Responsibilities:
  • You are a make-it-happen kind of person that enjoys serving others and working with a small team to assist with incredible events.
  • You are positive, hands-on, and a go-getter.
  • You will attend scheduled meetings throughout the week and understand all tasks assigned to you.
  • You will check out daily with your supervisor before departing and provide an update on any assigned tasks.
  • You will be responsible for upkeeping the venue and property, returning all inventory to its correct location after use.
  • You will be responsible for cleaning dishes and glassware in the Dish Pit.
  • You will serve others with a joy and love working in a supportive role that helps clients have an incredible experience.
  • You will be able to lift up to 50lbs, physically able to work hard while looking and acting professional, climb a ladder to help hang pretties on chandeliers, trees, and lights.
  • You will be dependable, loyal, and driven by growth opportunities.
  • You will be cool with working nights and weekends as in the event business, we are almost always working Fridays and Saturdays.
