Principal Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Sr Principal Test Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of complex systems for testing, inspection, process control, safety, and process improvement of Solid Rocket Motor (SRM).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and publish integrated test plans, detailed test plans, test schedules, and test procedures for developmental testing.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers on requirements to ensure testing confirms products function as designed.
- Design and install sophisticated testing equipment.
- Drive development of test codes.
- Collect, format, analyze, present test data, and generate summary reports.
- Lead test readiness reviews and pre/post-test briefing.
- 10-12 years' experience in test engineering.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
