Job Title: Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Specialist to support our operations in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, database administration, and research.



The successful candidate will serve as the agency's Department of Human Services designated system administrator, communicating with the Local Department of Human Services Administrator as needed. They will develop and implement protocols for staff training of the Department of Human Services designated system, meeting regularly with Office of Migrant Services staff to develop clear protocols.



The Data Specialist will ensure accuracy of data entry in the Department of Human Services designated system, reviewing the Department of Human Services identified database for data quality, completeness, and accuracy. They will run monthly reports and data quality and Annual Performance Reports on all funded programs, addressing any issues with the quality and accuracy of these reports.



The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer software programs, specifically Microsoft Office and databases. They will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure all client data is accurate, supporting program staff in interpreting and using analysis for program improvement.



We are especially interested in recruiting bilingual speakers fluent in Spanish, and DC residents will receive priority.

Requirements:


  • Two years of related job function experience or industry experience
  • Enter data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information using an established procedure into Quickbase or other Department of Human Services approved tool
  • Knowledge of computer software programs specifically Microsoft Office and databases
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure all client data is accurate
  • Support program staff in interpreting and using analysis for program improvement
  • Routinely audit data for accuracy and consistency


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Professional Registration or Certification including Project Management Professional
  • Fluency in Spanish (bilingual English and Spanish)
