Job Title: Data Specialist II

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Specialist II to join our team at NVT Staffing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately loading and processing data into our litigation software, ensuring that all data is properly formatted, stored, and retrievable for legal analysis and case management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Loading: Import and load diverse data sets (e.g., documents, emails, images) into litigation software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.
  • Data Processing: Format, clean, and prepare data for ingestion into litigation systems, including electronic discovery platforms.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular audits of data loaded into systems to ensure compliance and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintenance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of data loading processes, methodologies, and challenges encountered.
  • Technical Support: Provide support and troubleshooting related to data access and usage of litigation software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with paralegals, attorneys, and other stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure timely data delivery for case preparation.
Qualifications:
  • Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) facility credentials/authorization. Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow. Knowledge of Government's IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications preferred.
  • Familiarity with litigation software (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, CaseGuard) and electronic discovery processes. Proficient in data management tools and techniques, with strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Must have at least two years' experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.
