  • Meat Department Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the meat cases, shelves, and floors, in accordance with company standards and regulations.
  • Product Management: Ensure that meat products are properly rotated, priced, and displayed, and that expired or damaged products are removed in a timely manner.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Perform sanitation duties within the department, including cleaning equipment, shelves, and floors, in accordance with corporate and state regulations.
  • Inventory Control: Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures, and perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication skills, ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.
  • Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing; frequent use of hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders; frequent lifting from waist to shoulders of up to 80 pounds; occasional lifting from floor to overhead of up to 60 pounds; occasional carrying and lifting from floor to waist of up to 100 pounds; occasional pushing and pulling of up to 70 pounds; constant exposure to cool environment.
