We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Development and Support Specialist to join our team at Manufacturing Company.

Job Overview

This is a technical role that requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot customer process issues, lead issue resolution efforts, and support commercial and quality organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve customer process issues, including troubleshooting and diagnostic activities.
  • Lead issue resolution efforts at customer locations, ensuring alignment with Hanwha Advanced Material's recommended processing guidelines.
  • Identify and report competing product activities at customers, providing strategic insights for business growth.
  • Duplicate customer processes at Hanwha Advanced Material's laboratories to facilitate validation of new product developments, launch support, and quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain Hanwha Advanced Material's troubleshooting guidelines and lessons learned database.
  • Act as a technical focal point at customer sites, representing the company and its products.
  • Address customer problems related to materials, ensuring timely resolutions and high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate technical support for analytical processes, samples, and meetings, driving successful commercialization and quality resolution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Polymer or Chemical Engineering; other disciplines may be considered based on experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, open to listening and sharing experiences.
  • Strong comprehension and utilization of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively make decisions.
  • Problem-solving / analytical skills required, with a proven track record of success.
  • Able to analyze problems quickly and summarize effectively, communicating complex ideas clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Technical Service or Development experience, preferably in film Manufacturing/PV Module Manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technology field.
  • Experience with ISO quality systems, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience in using data acquisition systems, data analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Six-Sigma certification, with a strong understanding of quality principles and methodologies.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
