We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dining Department Associate to join our team at Applewood Retirement Living. As a key member of our Dining Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents and guests while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform dishwashing and utility tasks in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Prepare and serve food in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of Applewood Retirement Living.
- Ensure all customers receive efficient, professional, and responsive service.
- Work harmoniously and cooperatively within a team structure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
- Ability to report to work regularly and promptly.
- Ability to work beyond normal hours when necessary.
- Previous customer service experience of at least 6 months.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
