Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dining Department Associate to join our team at Applewood Retirement Living. As a key member of our Dining Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents and guests while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dishwashing and utility tasks in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and serve food in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of Applewood Retirement Living.
  • Ensure all customers receive efficient, professional, and responsive service.
  • Work harmoniously and cooperatively within a team structure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
  • Ability to report to work regularly and promptly.
  • Ability to work beyond normal hours when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience of at least 6 months.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
