Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Prisma Health UC by Wellstreet, LLC. As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and provide instructions in a polite and professional manner
  • Analyze health insurance benefits and verify eligibility
  • Maintain the reception area and perform clerical tasks
  • Determine and collect patient financial responsibility
  • Assist the practice manager and other staff as required
  • Provide overall support for Physicians and office operations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer at least one year experience in a medical office or emergency room setting
  • Urgent care experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work 8am to 8pm 3 days/week, rotating weekends and holidays
