Description:

This is an opportunity for a motivated lawyer to assist in coordinating legal guidance to HCSC on state regulatory matters outside of HCSC's five core states. HCSC is the largest customer-owned health insurer in the United States, operating through its Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

In addition to its offering in these core states, HCSC is proud to serve millions of people across the nation through a diverse portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree and a license to practice law in the state where the position is located.

We are looking for an experienced attorney with at least 8 years of experience in the healthcare or insurance field, who possesses clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, the successful candidate will have negotiation and diplomacy skills.

We prefer candidates with 3-5 years recent experience in health care insurance state regulatory law, experience with Medicare Supplement regulatory issues, and strong business collaboration and writing skills.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
