Role Overview
Within the Value-Added Services sector of the Issuing Solutions Product organization, this position is tasked with the continuous development and enhancement of Visa's global benefits offerings. This encompasses APIs, user interfaces, and backend systems that empower issuers to craft, manage, and disseminate compelling cardholder value propositions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Process Design: Develop operational frameworks that facilitate product adaptability during change and incident management, as well as feature implementation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, operational support teams, and other essential stakeholders to deliver, oversee, and refine these processes.
- Validation and Testing: Continuously assess and validate operational workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strategic Support: Assist Product Managers in understanding the full operational implications and requirements throughout the feature development lifecycle.
- Roadmap Management: Collaborate with Product Managers to build and oversee the product roadmap and backlog.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a key liaison among stakeholders, providing insights and guidance.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 2 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA).
- 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years with a PhD.
- 2+ years in product ownership, management, or support roles.
- 3+ years utilizing Business Analysis skills or similar.
- Proven experience with operational products, APIs, and B2B solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey business needs to technical teams.
- Strong technical understanding of web applications and APIs.
- Attention to detail and intellectual agility.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office suite is advantageous.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed stakeholders is a plus.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Flexible based on departmental needs.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel (5-10%).
Mental/Physical Requirements: This role will be performed in an office environment, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate effectively, and operate standard office equipment.
