Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, providing support and encouragement to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and mental health diagnoses, creating personalized treatment plans to address client needs.
  • Provide ongoing therapy and community referrals, working closely with clients to achieve their goals.
  • Manage Aging Resource Grants for funding, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field is required, with advanced training in therapy, treatment planning, and diagnosis preferred.
  • Work experience in providing services to the mental health population is essential, with experience in gerontology, in-home therapy, and mental health settings a plus.
  • Licensure as a mental health provider in the State of Iowa is required, with valid driver's license for work-related driving.
