Position Overview

The Ladders is seeking a dynamic Chief Procurement Officer to lead our Procurement and Contract Management division. This role is pivotal in steering the operational framework that supports our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Procurement Officer will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing the daily functions of the Procurement and Contract Management team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Driving the strategic vision for procurement and contracting services, while fostering an environment that promotes diversity and equity.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Addressing inquiries from various departments and resolving any contract-related disputes.
  • Leading a team of professionals, including management and support staff, to achieve operational excellence.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing procurement and contracting services at an organizational level.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance procurement operations while maintaining the integrity of the procurement process.
  • Strong strategic planning skills with a focus on resource optimization.
  • Expertise in developing and enforcing procurement policies and procedures in accordance with organizational values and legal standards.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret laws and regulations related to procurement and contract services.

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A Master's degree in Business, Public Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with six years of progressive experience in a management role within procurement, including two years of supervisory experience.
OR
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, coupled with eight years of progressive management experience in procurement, including two years of supervisory experience.
OR
  • A minimum of twelve years of progressive management experience in procurement, including two years of supervisory experience.
