Position Overview:

The Human Resources Specialist will undertake essential administrative duties, including overseeing the recognition program, conducting management evaluations, facilitating new employee orientation, and providing communication support. This role is crucial for boosting organizational efficiency, enhancing performance, and driving business success.

Education & Experience Required:

- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience is necessary.

- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in customer service is required.

Technical Skills:

(Required)

- Familiarity with legal regulations and policies regarding hiring practices, including equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.

- Understanding of compensation and benefits structures.

- Prior experience with software applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

Soft Skills:

(Required)

- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Capability to work autonomously and effectively manage time.

Typical Responsibilities:

- Act as a liaison between management and staff by addressing inquiries, interpreting and enforcing contracts, and assisting in resolving workplace issues.

- Provide guidance to managers on organizational policies, including equal employment opportunity and workplace harassment.

- Organize and facilitate new employee orientation sessions.

- Assist the HR manager in compiling necessary documentation for dispute resolution and administering disciplinary actions.

- Collaborate with the communications team by conducting interviews with employees for internal communication materials.
