Job Summary

The Cyster lab is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Associate II or III to join their research team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining a large mouse colony through breeding and genotyping work, collaborating with other lab members on research projects, and assisting with core lab management tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a large mouse colony through breeding and genotyping work
  • Collaborate with other lab members on research projects that focus on mouse breeding, genotyping, and immunizing
  • Assist with core lab management tasks, including regulatory compliance and training of junior lab members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in biology or a related field, with experience in mouse breeding and colony management, genotyping by PCR, mouse anesthesia and blood collection, and basic molecular biology techniques. You will also need excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
