Job Description

Overview

Glengate, a leader in high-end residential landscaping, seeks a skilled Horticultural Property Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our landscape management team, you will be responsible for overseeing client properties, ensuring seamless execution of projects, and consistently proposing innovative ways to enhance client properties.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client properties, ensuring all agreements and projects are fulfilled to client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement holistic property management strategies and designs for assigned clients.
  • Utilize expertise to identify property potential and propose and execute projects to meet sales goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, vendors, contractors, and key staff to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, safeguarding successful relationships and ensuring timely communication.
  • Manage administrative duties with efficiency, high quality, and timeliness, including mastering our software.
  • Balance maintenance management responsibilities with a thriving sales role, ensuring timely client communication.
  • Remain active in acquiring knowledge pertinent to horticulture, project management, and industry standards.
  • Effectively manage communications and participate in the betterment of your team and coworkers.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills, with the ability to execute tasks with professionalism and excellence.
  • Effective knowledge of a landscape's potential to sell required enhancements, with a strong sales emphasis.
  • Ability to re-prioritize tasks on-the-fly, making sound, independent decisions consistent with the organization's mission.
  • Confident customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
  • Competencies in fact finding, planning, problem solving, and innovative thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Combination of landscape management and enhancement sales, requiring the ability to balance both.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, climb stairs, and stand for an extended period.
