Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Conducting the collection and analysis of Publicly Available Information (PAI) utilizing Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools.
  • Monitoring and analyzing emerging trends, patterns, vulnerabilities, and threats relevant to the industry and organization.
  • Collaborating closely with Risk Services Leadership to gather intelligence, process incoming information, and assess the significance and reliability of data.
  • Participating in risk assessments and developing analyses on potential risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies to enhance security and resilience.
  • Leading or supporting special projects or research initiatives related to strategic objectives, leveraging internal and external resources within the jewelry sector.
  • Assisting Risk Services Leadership in the creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for monitoring, collecting, analyzing, and disseminating risk data.
  • Accessing data from internal and external systems to create and maintain dashboards/data sets that validate Risk Service initiatives or identify areas for improvement.
  • Effectively interpreting and communicating data with actionable recommendations or reports to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with Product Development, Analytics, IT, Underwriting, and other departments to create reliable and comprehensive data sets for reporting purposes.
  • Creating, maintaining, and presenting various inter-departmental and company reports or dashboards to monitor overall performance.
  • Exhibiting a strong desire for learning, adaptability to changes, and innovative thinking.
  • Identifying and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiencies.
  • Representing the department and organization in various projects and committees.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of one to three years of experience in OSINT and risk analysis is necessary.
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
    • Proficiency in analytical writing and verbal communication skills is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), particularly in data manipulation and pivot tables.
  • Experience with PowerPivot, SQL, Power BI, and/or other query/reporting tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and translate data into actionable opportunities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are required.
  • Experience in property/casualty insurance and the jewelry industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and establish effective working relationships across various levels of the organization.
