Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fund development strategy, including corporate sponsorships, individual donors, grant writing, and annual fundraising events.
  • Provide guidance to the President and the Board in planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of Fund-Raising programs and events.
  • Assist the President and the Board in networking and development of new members, community liaisons, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Lead volunteer committees to support the Fund Development Director in achieving position goals.
  • Develop and maintain communication systems, including database management, monthly e-blasts, invitations, and website updates.
  • Prepare financial reports of revenue and expenses for events, donations, grants, and programs receiving funds.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, Board meetings, and annual Board and staff retreats.
Requirements:
  • Five years of non-profit experience in a fund-raising role.
  • Four-year degree required.
  • CFRE certification desired.
  • Demonstrated success in networking and developing philanthropic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated skill and success in working with volunteers.
  • Demonstrated computer knowledge, including experience in database management, website oversight, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated financial management and related report development experience.
