Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Frontier Behavioral Health. As a member of our co-deployed team, you will work closely with emergency responders to provide critical mental health services to individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide rapid response, assessment, and crisis intervention services to individuals and families in community-based settings.
  • Partner with emergency responders to respond to emergency calls and provide stabilization services to divert individuals from jail, emergency departments, or inpatient psychiatric treatment.
  • Complete assessments of risk to determine if crisis can be resolved by referrals to community resources or if referral to MCAT, CRS, or transport to ED is necessary.
  • Facilitate use of/access to crisis hospital diversion resources, including Stabilization and/or E&T admission and psychiatric beds at the House of Charity as individual contract allow.
  • Assist individuals in obtaining basic needs such as housing, financial assistance, medical services, medications, and other resources that will help them maintain stability in the community.
  • Effectively utilize customer service and motivational interviewing skills to promote appropriate customer-centered care.
  • Maintain data as required by the contract.
  • Document in EMR accurately, within defined timelines and in compliance with FBH policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in the behavioral sciences.
  • One year of experience working with psychiatrically impaired populations.
  • Must be eligible for Agency Affiliation in the state of Washington.
  • Must pass a Law Enforcement Interview and Background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience working with psychiatrically impaired populations.
  • Experience working with emergency responders such as police or fire departments.
