Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Echo Technician to work in our Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies, and preparing preliminary interpretations of those studies. The successful candidate will also be able to prepare and maintain records of patient echo studies and assist supervising physicians with the training of residents and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for examination and perform all necessary echocardiography procedures
  • Prepare preliminary interpretations of echocardiography studies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient echo studies
  • Assist supervising physicians with the training of residents and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiac technology and ultrasound, as well as excellent interpretation skills. They will also be able to read and apply physicians' orders, policies, and procedures. A cardiac echocardiography technology program graduate with experience in multiple echocardiography platforms and technology is preferred.
