Job Summary

Pilates Instructors play a vital role in supporting our members in achieving their fitness goals. They build relationships, provide educational and supportive experiences, and uphold the integrity of the Life Time brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safe and comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention.
  • Monitor and instruct clients during Pilates training sessions, ensuring the safe and effective use of equipment.
  • Conduct fitness consultations for new clients, including pre-participation screening and goal setting, to assess and recommend Pilates training programs.
  • Instruct private and group Pilates classes, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
  • Promote and sell Pilates training programs, Group Fitness classes, and Personal Training to members.
  • Complete administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
  • Stay current on certifications and industry trends.
  • Educate members on health and fitness issues and trends.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all members feel competent, confident, and connected.
  • Document all aspects of client programming.
  • Stay current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program.
  • Provide fitness floor assistance to members, ensuring safety, education, and motivation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of personal training experience.
  • Experience in Pilates program design.
  • Certified Pilates Trainer.
  • Trained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrels.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • CPR and AED Certified.

Preferred Requirements

  • Hours of comprehensive Pilates Certificate (minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair).
