We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Baker to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for assisting the Baker in the production of high-quality cakes, ensuring that our guests receive the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Baker in following proprietary recipes and production methods to achieve productivity goals.
- Effectively utilize commercial-grade mixers and ovens to bake cakes, and assist with accurately preparing raw ingredients and equipment.
- Monitor the baking process, assist with daily baking and production flow, and maintain baking and refrigeration logs.
- Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes, and maintain a clean and sanitized workstation.
- Comply with all health and safety guidelines and company policies, including dress code and personal hygiene standards.
- Ability to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
- Ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require strength to lift items of moderate to heavyweight, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate commercial-grade ovens and other bakery equipment, and work adjacent to a high-heat source.
- Discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
